Due for official release in September but available now on promo is this gem of a tune from Lars Behrenroth’s Deeper Shades Recordings imprint. South African deep Soulful House at it’s best as Cuebur provides the production for the emotional vocals of Nathan X. Remixed by Ultra Tone the soft kicks and lush keys drive this along with some snippets of vocal stabs and sweet backing to match before the main man Nathan storms in with one of the most soulful of deliveries of the year. I love that opening line of “look into my eyes and get a glimpse of my heart”. Shame it seems to end so quickly. Back in the day this would get hammered for months on end and that’s exactly what I’m gonna do with it.
