The show is a tale of two halves. The first being the latest sounds out there, and pretty deep with it too. The latter is a throw back to the sound of 2005, when the scene had a European take on latin house with Hardsoul, Audiowhores, Copyright and of course Soulfuric was still flying high.

Have to call out Kyodai & Joss Moog this week. Must admit I Had never heard of Kyodai until a few weeks ago but they’ve managed to score two tracks in this months mix. Joss Moog is someone I’ve been tacking since the start of the year after hearing the mind blowing “Underground Notes 2” track, and again he’s shown he is a force to be reckoned with wading in with a couple of tracks in this mix two.

A label that is really impressing me right now is Local Talk. Pretty much everything they release finds it way into my home. If you haven’t checked them out yet then get onto it.

Very happy to say I made it to number 8 overall this week on the Podomatic chart (#1 for Deep House), so a HUGE thank you to everyone that downloaded, liked, visited, or followed the Podcast – it’s great to feel so well supported.

Thanks to Yokel and La Donna who were keeping me company in the old chat room this week. Always nice to finally meet people who have been following the C2E podcasts over the years.

Remember to tune in live if possible – every Thursday 8pm to 10pm Sydney time – 11am to 1pm GMT. Even better if you can pop into the chat room and say hi.

Been into house music for 20 years now. Lucky enough to grow up in the North of England in the late 80's early 90's. Enabled me to see all the legendary DJs that built the scene. Been DJ'ing since 94. Over the years I've been into most scenes as they emerged, House, US Garage, UK Garage, Deep House, Funky House, Latin Vibes, Chicago Jack and of course the Soulful Vocal stuff. My mixes are a reflection of those styles, usually starting off on a mellow vibe progressing through to the chunky stuff before bringing you safely back down on the other side. The common theme being great quality bottom heavy, shake your ass music. I moved to Sydney on the other side of the world in 2006. It's a great place, but I do miss the house scene in the UK, theres just nothing else quite like it. Hope you enjoy the mixes, as much as I enjoy creating them.
