Sundays From Harlem 20-Jan-2013

22 January 2013

This episode is one of my recent faves. It has a real tribal sound and a nice deep vibe. Phil Marwood’s brilliant remake of, “Yeke Yeke” followed by tracks from Anthony Nicholson & Doruk Olzen. Then we move into selections by Roland Clark, John Sousa and Kings of Groove. Of course no jazzy set would be complete without a track from Glen Underground, we bring you, “Reckless Art” from him. Then we bring up the energy with a killer from Maceo Plex and close the set with some heat from Andy Compton, N’Dinga Gaba and Terry Hunter……This was a lot of fun to put together. I hope you like it too.
