c2e favourite things

Had nothing planned whatsoever for this weeks show. Up until a couple of hours before it was touch and go as to whether the show would be live from Jay-J’s new residency in Sydney, so in my naivety I left my Traxsource cart unpurchased! Luckily it turned out well with a big bumper show packed full of things that tickle my fancy.
Since it was spur of the moment the direction of the mix was very much driven by the feedback in the chat room during the show. Leah the late night dancer loves her dirty bass, and Neale down here in Aus reacted every time I dropped a twisted UK style deep house track. Also lucky to have Kevin Anthony jump on straight after for a flashback to the old Sydney 2 Baltimore sessions of 2012.
Clocks are starting to change around the globe. Not 100% sure what that will mean for listeners on the top side of the planet – depends on whether I move my show time down here to accommodate, but I’ll keep you posted. Remember to keep checking the official c2eMusic website as recordings from shows appear there a week before they hit Podomatic (if they get a release on here at all).

Thanks again to everyone that tunes in every week, or downloads the show on here. Please give feedback on the direction the show is heading in music wise. Always good to hear your thoughts or any ideas you have for future shows (love a good theme and programming challenge :))

Been into house music for 20 years now. Lucky enough to grow up in the North of England in the late 80's early 90's. Enabled me to see all the legendary DJs that built the scene. Been DJ'ing since 94. Over the years I've been into most scenes as they emerged, House, US Garage, UK Garage, Deep House, Funky House, Latin Vibes, Chicago Jack and of course the Soulful Vocal stuff. My mixes are a reflection of those styles, usually starting off on a mellow vibe progressing through to the chunky stuff before bringing you safely back down on the other side. The common theme being great quality bottom heavy, shake your ass music. I moved to Sydney on the other side of the world in 2006. It's a great place, but I do miss the house scene in the UK, theres just nothing else quite like it. Hope you enjoy the mixes, as much as I enjoy creating them.
