DJ Application Form

Pressure Radio is an Internet only world-wide Radio Station specialising in Deep Soulful House music. Each DJ broadcasts from their own location and connects to our central stream server broadcasting world-wide. As well as being dedicated group of DJ’s who love the music we play, we operate as a community and you will find us friendly and accommodating if you become part of our team.

• Please note we only want DJs to do “LIVE” shows (not host recorded mixes)
• We only play Deep Soulful House (with occasional special shows such as oldskool soul funk)
• We have a weekly schedule therefore you must be able to commit to a weekly show.
• Whilst we appreciate you may not be a professional DJ we do have high standards and a demo mix is essential and there is also a trial period.
• All applications decisions are at the discretion of the Pressure management.
• We will need to verify you have the right set-up, reliable internet connection and enough bandwidth to successfully stream.
• We are looking for ‘hands on’ DJ’s that know how to mix using traditional hardware (CDs, Turntables, digitally encoded vinyl etc.) Digital software mixing is acceptable if you have converted from traditional mixing methods to fully digital. (e.g. Serato, Traktor, Virtual DJ etc)
• The best way to get fast application is to listen to many shows and come hang out in our chat room so you can get to know us and know if the station is right for you.
• Please be patient when waiting for a reply, we do not rush this process as we like to make considered decisions to ensure what’s right for the station.
