DJ LIL' JOHN became a Chicago icon in the early 90's, playing various nightclubs and events all over the city. He became friends with Jeff Craven, who invited John to jump-start a label. Within a year later, and a couple of name changes for the label, LARGE MUSIC was formed! His claim-to-fame was "I'm Leaving You" by Ulysses (LARGE 1993). John also held a decade-long residence (1993-2003) at the legendary RED DOG Nightclub, where he helped to pioneer what many today still call “the Red Dog Sound"!! From 2001-2009, he showcased his Urban side on the #1 rated WGCI 107.5 FM (Chicago). Today, you can catch DJ LIL' JOHN's mixshows all over Internet radio stations.
